Note: LINE supports free voice calls on iPhone and Android. If your device does not support free calls, you can use LINE on PC instead.

To make free calls from the PC version, ensure both the PC and smartphone apps are updated to the latest version.

How to use LINE on a computer

LINE helps you stay connected with friends anytime and anywhere. Use LINE on your smartphone while on the move, and switch to PC (Windows or macOS) when at home or in the office.

To access LINE on PC, you need to register an email account: go to LINE app → Settings → Email Registration.

Create or join groups and chat with up to 100 members simultaneously using the fast and simple group chat feature.

Multiple ways to add friends

With the “Shake it!” feature, users can add friends by shaking their devices together. LINE also supports adding friends via QR codes.
